Website Redesign & Redevelopment

Gilda’s Club of Rochester

Project management, sole designer, supporting developer for a website redesign/redevelopment for Gilda’s Club. 2016.

“Life is about not knowing.”

American comedienne Gilda Radner’s legacy of bringing joy, relief, and resources to other cancer victims lives on through the Gilda’s Club national non-profit organization.

The Gilda’s Club of Rochester sought to provide their current and potential members with an online experience as warm and welcoming as the clubhouse itself. I count it an immense privilege to have had the opportunity to plan, design and execute this project.

Homepage Layout

Dressed in warm hues and rich imagery, the homepage offers the warmth of a friendly embrace.

It brings to the forefront both frequently visited pages and sought-after information to give seasoned users and potential members alike an optimal experience.

Donation Page

The donation form employs all the polish and character of the rest of the site while offering a donation experience that is smooth and enjoyable to complete.

By neatly organizing the process into simple steps, I sought to render the process of donation encouraging and simplified.

Events

Strategically designed to offer ease of use for the client when inputting new events, the event template offers all the necessary information on a simple, tidy page.

The opportunity to use brilliant, engaging photography was key in generating interest/comfort.

The main call-to-action (ordering tickets) is kept prominent.
